mission statement

The Pembroke Historical Society shall preserve documents and artifacts of historic interest to the town of Pembroke, Massachusetts; and shall accept the loan or lease, and responsibility, of any articles or items entrusted to the society for safe keeping or permanent placement.  The society shall be dedicated to preservation of the history of Pembroke and to perpetuate the interest, education, and support of
​Pembroke residents in the history of our town.

The Pembroke Historical Society is always looking for more volunteers to help us Preserve Pembroke’s past. A large focus of the work is on managing the properties and providing public access so that all might enjoy the history of our wonderful town.
